Pregnancy Care
At Fair Oaks Women’s Center, we understand how important it is to deliver personalized obstetric care to each individual patient. We do not approach obstetrics with a one-size-fits-all approach. Rather, we believe in listening to your requests and working hand-in-hand with you to develop a birth plan that you can be proud of and confident in. Our ultimate goal is to provide a healthy, happy and exceptional birth experience while partnering with you for every step of your pregnancy.
Pre-Pregnancy Care
For many women, learning how to plan for pregnancy can be overwhelming. Our goal at FOWC is to support our patients throughout every stage of life, including the time you have to plan for starting or expanding your family. Preconception counseling is an important aspect of family planning that allows you to optimize your health before embarking on a pregnancy journey. Our board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Singh, who has more than 20 years of experience in women’s health care, can provide peace of mind by working together with you to plan for a happy, healthy pregnancy.
Pregnancy Care
At FOWC, we celebrate the fact that no two pregnancies are the same and that each woman’s pregnancy journey is different and beautiful. We believe in supporting pregnancy as a natural part of life, not treating it as an illness. Among our top priorities in being a provider of women’s health care is to deliver personalized pregnancy care that meets your individual needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach to pregnancy assistance. At FOWC, we partner with you and take on your pregnancy-related goals as our own. Keeping your goals in mind, we will work together with you to develop a birth plan that gives you confidence throughout your pregnancy experience.
Post-Pregnancy Care
Pregnancy is a unique time in every mother’s life and every woman will have her own pregnancy journey and experience. Following pregnancy and birth, post-pregnancy health care is an important part of every new mother’s journey. Pregnancy and giving birth bring on exciting new experiences; however, postpartum life can also bring on new stressors. Having a newborn can create questions about feeding habits, crying, or sleep patterns, so it is important for every mother to have a health care provider in whom she can confide. Our goal is to teach new mothers the best ways to take care of themselves and their baby.
Our board-certified OB/GYN, Dr. Singh, knows that every mother deserves and needs individualized care. She always takes the time to listen to any post-pregnancy questions or concerns her patients may have to help achieve optimum health.
Miscarriage Care and Prevention
For many women, discovering how to recover from a miscarriage involves understanding more about why it may have happened. If the cause of miscarriage can be pinpointed, it is sometimes possible to remedy the issue before becoming pregnant again or during your next pregnancy.
